simple shower gel review

Simple Shower Gel Review

I have sensitive skin and I can’t use most of the shower gels that everyone uses on a daily basis, it’s something I resent about my partner who gets to use all the shower gels that smell divine! I’ve been using this Simple shower gel for around a year now and have to say it’s great. It hasn’t given me any rashes or made my skin sore so it’s one to keep if you’re looking for a shower gel for sensitive skin!

I thought I’d do a little simple shower gel review because I wanted to share that it’s great for sensitive skin and hopefully, someone in the same situation I was is able to find this post and hopefully use this simple hypoallergenic shower gel and not had their skin react as it does with other shower gels on the market.

What Is Simple Shower Gel?

Simple shower gel is a body wash that is designed to be gentle on sensitive skin. It is made with a variety of skin-loving ingredients, including cucumber extract, pro-vitamin B5, and glycerin. These ingredients help to cleanse and hydrate the skin without stripping it of its natural oils. The simple shower gel is also free of harsh chemicals, artificial fragrances, and colours, making it a safe choice for even the most sensitive skin.

They are starting to bring our more natural fragrances such as their cucumber one which I LOVE! However, as they use natural ingredients that don’t irritate the skin their line is limited to only a few at the moment. It’s always great to have a variety though when you’re unable to use all the colourful and lush smelling shower gels other people use.

Here are some of the benefits of using Simple shower gel:

  • Gentle on sensitive skin
  • Cleanses and hydrates the skin
  • Free of harsh chemicals, artificial fragrances, and colours
  • Dermatologically tested and approved
  • Affordable (I get the big bottles which are currently £1.50 which isn’t bad)
  • Available in a variety of scents (Their one with cucumber extract is the best in my opinion!)

Simple Shower Gel Pros & Cons

Although simple shower gel is great for sensitive skin, it’s not all great much the same with any product I suppose. It wouldn’t be a simple shower gel review without the pros and cons because I want everyone to know what they’re getting when they buy this. If you’re a long time user like I am, you’ll already know all of this but if you’re new to the shower gel, hopefully, you’ll get the information you need.

Here are some of the pros and cons of using Simple shower gel:

Pros:

  • Gentle on sensitive skin
  • Cleanses and hydrates the skin
  • Free of harsh chemicals, artificial fragrances, and colours
  • Dermatologically tested and approved
  • Affordable (but not as cheap as your cheap ones that wreak havoc on the skin!)
  • Available in a variety of scents

Cons:

  • Some people may find the scent to be too mild (which is true so if you like your fragrant shower gels, I’m sorry)
  • It may not be as effective at removing dirt and oil as some other shower gels
  • It is not available in all stores (I mainly find it in Asda, Tesco or online in the UK)

Overall, Simple shower gel is a good option for people with sensitive skin. It is gentle, affordable, and effective. However, some people may find the scent to be too mild or the product to not be as effective as other shower gels.

Where to Buy Simple Shower Gel & Simple Products

If you’re looking to buy Simple products you’re better off looking at superstores such as Asda and Tesco which is where I’ve mainly found them. You can also buy them online although sometimes they may cost more and there will be delivery prices might be a little too much. If you’re looking to get the Simple products online, take a look at the top three places I get mine!

Here are the top three places online in the UK to buy Simple products:

  1. Simple’s official website: This is the best place to buy Simple products, as you can be sure that you are getting the genuine article. The website also offers a wide variety of products and discounts.
  2. Amazon: Amazon is a great option for buying Simple products, as you can often find them on sale. However, be sure to check the seller before you buy, as there are many counterfeit products on Amazon. If you don’t want to pay postage costs you can sign up for a free 30-day Amazon Prime trial.
  3. Superdrug: Superdrug is a drugstore chain that sells a variety of Simple products. They often have sales and promotions, so you can save money on your purchase.

Would I Recommend Simple Products?

Yes, I would totally recommend this Simple hypoallergenic shower gel. The one reason I wanted to write this Simple shower gel review was to ensure that people with sensitive skin also found something that they could use without having their skin on fire after a shower because showers are supposed to be enjoyed at the end of the day.

Let me know if you use this Simple shower gel and what you think about it. If you found this Simple hypoallergenic shower gel review helpful I’m super glad and you’ll have to let me know in the comments so I can write more reviews on products that are great for sensitive skin!
