Poundland Rose Bushes Review – Are Poundland Rose Bushes Any Good?!

Poundland Plants

The weather is starting to look better and that means getting out into the garden and making it look pretty. I love gardening and when I came across a whole section of plants and bushes in Poundland I was over the moon, that optimism soon died just like these rose bushes. Not everything in the Poundland gardening section was bad though.

However, in my opinion, you should stay away from the Poundland plants and I’m speaking from some experience which makes it even worse because I paid money for plants that withered and died. I also purchased peacock orchid bulbs from Poundland and I can confirm, they did not grow which was a great shame.

I mean at the end of the day if you’re buying plants from Poundland and they don’t grow it’s only a pound per plant. If you end up buying a lot of them though the money soon adds up and if they don’t grow, you’re left with an empty wallet and a sparse garden and nobody wants that, that’s for sure.

Are Poundland Rose Bushes Any Good?

My own experience would say that the Poundland rose bushes are not good, they don’t even grow. I got two types of rose bushes from Poundland and neither of them grew. After a few weeks instead of growing they withered away and were well and truly dead. All that I could do was dig them out and add them to the compost heap which really sucked.

I would love to know if anyone else was in a similar situation with any Poundland plants or if anyone got some plants from the Poundland gardening section that actually grew?

Where To Buy Rose Bushes?

Since my failed Poundland rose bushes I decided to pay up a little and get some from B&M. Although they were more expensive I can already see them growing after a couple of weeks and I’m very excited at the prospect of having some nice rose bushes in the garden this year as I’ve not had any before.

I would like to point out that just because a rose bush for example is cheap that doesn’t always mean it’s going to be bad and not grow. It is just my experience from these Poundland rose bushes that they don’t work and if you’re visiting the Poundland gardening section maybe step away from the plants!

Poundland Rose Bushes Reviews

I always like to include other reviews from other sources so that people can have a broad range of opinions to look through because maybe someone else has had a different experience than me and people will want to know that. Take a look at what people have to say about the Poundland rose bushes and Poundland plants in this Gardeners Corner thread and maybe you can get a more vast insight.

Will you be buying any roses from Poundland any time soon, or any plants from Poundland for that matter? Let me know in the comments, I’d love to hear what you have to say on the matter and maybe, just maybe you can persuade me to go back to the Poundland gardening section and try out some different plants.
