Teds Bowl Review
Gifted Products For Inclusion
We love reviewing dog treats, food and toys at Reviewers United. Our pups are forever thankful that we can get some amazing goodies for them to test out and that’s why we couldn’t wait to try out Teds Bowl dog food! When Teds Bowl contacted us, we were over the moon and let’s face it, whose dog doesn’t like trying new food, or just eating for that matter?
Who Are Teds Bowl?
Teds Bowl are a dog food company that sells ready meals for dogs. They were previously known as Hugs Pet Food. Since then they have had a rebrand where they have changed the name of their company and changed the packaging for their products including the plastic tub and the way the food is represented.
The food is still the same as it always was, you can see all of the nutritional values of each meal on the Teds Bowl Nutrition page which gives you a comprehensive breakdown of everything the meals have in them and why they are high grade quality your dogs are going to love.
Why Did Hug Foods Change Their Name?
Hug Foods rebranded to Teds Bowl following changes in their recipes and manufacturing and felt that it was best to relaunch to showcase this and show a level of transparency to their customer base.
Teds Bowl Products
We would like to point out that Teds Bowl do meals for puppies, senior dogs and cats as well, although we only tried the adult dog meals and that’s what we can comment on. However, if you liked this review and found it helpful you might possibly think about looking at their other meals if you have other pets.
If you decide that Teds Bowl are the meal that your dog is going to love, we have one handy tip. The grease and fat that comes from the meal after you’ve cooked it; do not pour down the sink! We may have had a blocked, leaking sink due to this reason, not that the dogs minded.
Teds Bowl currently offer four meals for adult dogs, take a look at all the information you need to know below about each meal and if you need anymore information, head on over to the Teds Bowl website for more.

Teds Bowl Venison with Blackberries Review (Adult)
You might find random dog treats and food in the pet shop aisles such as rabbit ears or pig trotters but we can guarantee you won’t find anything like that in this Teds Bowl Venison With Blackberries meal! Now we know, and have seen with our own eyes while testing this out that not all dogs will like venison but the ones that do go crazy for it. When our dogs tried this one, 2 said no thanks and the third ate it up within minutes (and they’re fussy dogs!).
Like all Teds Bowl meals, this one is packed with protein and low-carb food. You can find all the information you need on the Teds Bowl Venison With Blackberries on their site. When it comes to our Teds Bowl Venison with Blackberries Review, it’s not for all dogs but it’s a great meal for dogs that like venison.
Teds Bowl Chicken with Carrots Review (Adult)
Like all Teds Bowl dog meals, this one is packed full of protein and low in carbs. In fact, it’s packed with carrots and carrots are great for dogs, dogs however aren’t always a fan of carrots so this is one sure way to ensure they’re getting what they need in their diet.
Most dogs love chicken, we give them chicken and rice when they’re unwell, the vast majority of treats towards dogs are either peanut butter or chicken and that’s why it makes sense to give them a Teds Bowl chicken and carrots meal. It’s 100% loved by all our dogs, you can find all the information you need on the Teds Bowl Chicken With Carrot site and when it comes to our Teds Bowl Chicken with Carrots Review it’s a glowing 5 stars from dogs everywhere.
Teds Bowl Lamb and Mint Review (Adult)
Lamb is one of them foods that some dogs are going to love and some dogs just don’t care about. That being said all of our dogs loved these Teds Bowl land and mint meals. We think minted lamb is one of them meals saved for occasions such as easter, so why not get your dogs involved with these amazing Teds Bowl minted lamb meals.
When it comes to our Teds Bowl Lamb and Mint Review we think they’re great for dogs. However, we do feel that this one in particular is more of a treat and not one we’d give our dogs every week unlike the other ones. It’s always important to give your dogs something special now and again as their favourite meal.
Overall, we found that our dogs loved these meals and couldn’t wait to get them. They’re affordable and smell great. However, we did find that one of the things we missed during the rebrand was the look of the meals; before they looked presentable and tasty even and now they just look like a block of something.

You can buy the Teds Bowl meals from the Teds Bowl website and from Ocado. They are not sold anywhere else at the moment but we hope they take off soon and we can pick them up when we do our shopping. Have you spotted them anywhere else? Let us know!
Teds Bowl Review
Personally, we love Teds Bowl at Reviewers United. They have their Pros and Cons and we’re not the biggest fan with how they look but that doesn’t matter when the dogs love eating them. We hope that there will be more flavours in the future for our dogs to try out.
So our Teds Bowl review gives them a solid 4.5 stars, we think Teds Bowl are great, and affordable and dogs love them. They’re well worth the price and being able to cook them from frozen in under 10 minutes makes life so much easier when it comes to dinner time! Just make sure you cool them down before giving them to your dogs.
